No, it is not necessary. You can always register for free without having to enter any payment method.
Is there a trial period?
You can use the free plan permanently to test how the application works. With it, you can upload as many reports as you want, although the results reports are limited to 100 transactions.
I am just starting out on Amazon and have almost no sales. Should I subscribe to a paid plan?
As long as you have fewer than 100 transactions for the fiscal period to be analysed, you can use it without paying, and the results will be 100% complete.
What do we mean by transactions?
By ‘transactions’ we mean orders, returns, settlements and inventory movements.
What do the monthly and quarterly transaction limits refer to?
This refers to the transaction limits per document, meaning you can upload as many documents as you wish to the website as long as they do not exceed the transaction limit for the selected period.
Example with the ‘basic plan’:
You can upload as many reports as you wish for different periods, provided that each one does not contain more than 2,000 transactions in monthly reports and 6,000 in quarterly reports.
If you upload a monthly document with more than 2,000 transactions or a quarterly document with more than 6,000 transactions, the processing will be partial and the results will not be complete (this will be indicated by a clear warning in the downloaded reports to avoid delivering partial documents to your manager). If this is the case, you will need to upgrade to a higher plan in order to analyse your documents correctly.
What types of files does the platform accept?
It only accepts .csv files with a maximum size of 100MB.
Where can I download the necessary tax files to analyse them?
The files are downloaded to your Amazon store at the following path: Menu –> Reports –> Amazon Logistics –> VAT-related transactions report
I have uploaded the file correctly but nothing appears.
If a window appeared when you uploaded the file indicating that it had been uploaded correctly, wait a minute or two and if it does not appear in the list of processed reports, click on update/refresh the page and it should appear there.
The analysis page appears with an error saying that I need a subscription. What should I do?
Log out and log back in to the platform and the problem will be solved.
What types of reports does the platform generate?
You can view the results online and download them in two types of files: one in PDF format with a summary ready for your manager, and one in Excel format containing the same summary information as the PDF but also with a list of all transactions separated by tax type and country.
I don’t know which plan to sign up for. How can I find out?
To do this, use the free version first and download the summary generated in PDF format, where you can see the number of transactions. Once you have this, you can sign up for the plan you need.
Does the platform generate invoices for my payment?
Yes, once you have subscribed, you can download the invoices corresponding to your payments. It is very important that you fill in all the sections during the payment process, including your tax details (whether you are self-employed or a company) so that they appear correctly on the invoice.
I am self-employed, but when I pay, it does not let me enter my tax details.
Select the ‘I am a company’ box and you will be able to enter your name and tax details there.
